These three tracks were originally a release by the blog Fruit Of The Spirit, run by my good friend, the estimable Ma Turner.

The 'Hidden Falls' Retreat of the title was a much-needed rest at the base of Scale Force in the Lake District. With a small group of people I encountered there, we scrambled up the rocks to the base of the falls, a deep and narrow canyon with a certain Shangri-La quality, and sat around the edge of the pool, cut off from the world and being gently cooled by the spray from the waterfall.

'Mount Pleasant and the Hawk' refers to the hill outside Woodingdean, East Sussex, with panoramic views across Brighton and the South Downs. The route back skirts around a chalk and stone hawk carved into the flanks of Whitehawk Hill.
