The nature reserve at Whitehawk Hill is a UNESCO World Biosphere Region, a tranquil green space at one of Brighton's highest points and home to a Neolithic settlement 1000 years older than Stonehenge, is under threat. Whitehawk Hill is a very important place to me, in fact it gets not one but two mentions on Follow The Map.

I re-iterate Save Whitehawk Hill's statement that they agree there is a huge need for housing in Brighton, but that building on ancient preserved land is not the way to solve the city's housing crisis. "Homes for all, but not on our most precious green spaces", as they put it.
